Creating a Comprehensive View
of Behavioral Functioning

Rapid Screener permits school, private professionals, and families to collaborate by each filling out a rating.  The result?  One single, efficient report that fully analyzes behavior across persons and settings to create a comprehensive, unified view of the student.

  • School Psychologists and Private Clinicians:  Use Rapid Screener to have up to 10 different raters evaluate student behavior. Include teachers, DIS professionals, private speech pathologists, and other staff, and of course, family members as raters.  You can use Rapid Screener to identify whether there are significant problems occurring during the school program and compare it to other settings, such as home or community.

  • Teachers:  By completing Rapid Screener, you can quickly identify those students who are having significant problems in your class and bring the information to the SST or IEP Team for review.  You can also compare how students function in different classrooms, a great way to identify the behavioral components which may underlie learning disabilities or academic difficulties.
  • DIS Staff and Private Providers:  Rapid Screener can be a valuable way for you to provide specific input about how the student functions in your individual or group setting and compare that to other school, home, and other community settings.
  • Family and Relatives:  You can use Rapid Screener to determine whether the problems you are observing at home or in the community are also occurring during your child's school program.

Rapid Screener's analysis engine quickly identifies important behaviors to track or target for intervention.  The Multi-Rater Report is especially useful in providing an overall picture of how students function in all important settings.

All Raters can...

  • Identify which behaviors are the greatest problems
  • Evaluate which adaptive skills require prompting or alternate teaching approaches
  • Evaluate student functioning across time and settings
  • Focus not just on the frequency of behavior, but determine the severity of behaviors across situations and across time
  • Determine response to intervention successes as well as the effectiveness of prescribed medications
  • Receive an instant report of their results
