In the Fall of 2006 I began hiring and training staff to work for BehaviorTech Solutions.  In early 2007, we became BehaviorTech Solutions, Inc.  We began exhibiting at local and remote conference locations last October and have received an enthusiastic response.

How will things change?

The Encino office was originally designed for training, groups, and assessments as well as for treatment, so no significant changes will be occurring. Several new staff have been hired since last October resulting in changes in the voice mail menus.

The Clinical practice web site (www.bgalephd.com) will continue to contain information related to my private practice and serve as a resource for professionals and families.  You may see increased integration with the BehaviorTech Solutions company website (www.behaviortech.net).

No new individual referrals.  I have stopped accepting referrals for individual treatment, except in highly specialized cases that do not require weekly appointments.

Assessments will continue.  I am Certified by the Calif. Dept of Education as an NPA and I am an IEE (Independent Educational Evaluator).  I have conducted functional behavioral assessments plus psychoeducational and psychodiagnostic assessments for numerous school districts.

L.U.N.C.H. Groups will continue.  They are just too much fun to not keep running!  We've been treating children and adolescents for the past seven years (adults for 15 years).  The feedback has been consistently positive; our groups have a reported 70%-80% success rate and over 80% of kids and teens report they enjoy participating.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.  For those of you are acquainted with my work over the past 20 years, you know the decision to make this transition has not come easily.  I love private practice.  But, rather than have my technology touch a hundred or so lives each year, I will be able to make the tools and techniques you have all been drooling over and asking about available on a much larger scale.
